Patrick Joseph Stokes has been charged with assaulting a person in connection with the incident
A man from Northampton has been charged with assault after a woman was punched in a pub, knocking her unconscious. The incident happened at The Auctioneers pub in Market Square, Northampton on October 22.
According to Northamptonshire Police, just before 5.45pm, a woman was punched by a man, knocking her unconscious. Patrick Joseph Stokes, of Chadwick Gardens, Northampton, has been charged with assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm in connection with the incident. He was remanded into custody and appeared at Northampton Crown Court on Friday, November 3. Stokes was bailed ahead of his next appearance at the same court on December 7.
