Investigators were originally able to identify and arrest the man after the woman provided a description to a police sketch artist.

The incident happened on Sept. 23, 2019 when the woman, who was not identified, was hitting golf balls at the Robert J. Miller Airpark in Berkeley Township and was approached by Steen, the office said. Steen then pushed the woman to the ground and hit her in the head with a golf club. Detectives from Berkeley Township Police Department were called to the facility and the woman was able to provide them with a description of Steen and his vehicle which helped police draw up a composite sketch, the office said.
