SELANGOR — The founder and executive chairman of the KK Mart Group Dr Chai Kee Kan and his wife Loh Siew Mui who is the company's director, both pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court in Malaysia on Tuesday to intentionally wounding the religious feelings of Muslims byConvenience store chain KK Super Mart has come under fire after pairs of socks bearing the word "Allah" were found in several of their outlets.

They had committed the offences as company directors at KK Supermart & Superstore in Bandar Sunway on March 13 at 6.30am. KK Supermart & Superstore, which was represented by Chai, was also served with the same charge under the section.Deputy public prosecutor Datuk Masri Mohd Daud prosecuted the case.On March 13, social media was abuzz after images showing a pair of socks bearing the word"Allah" allegedly being sold at a KK Super Mart shop in Bandar Sunway.
