Construction work could start in 2027 if planning permission is given to the housing development
New plans have emerged for hundreds of new homes and a country park to be built as part of a colossal project that will transform swathes of Nottinghamshire land. Housebuilder Bloor Homes has taken the first step towards building 700 homes off the A52 in Toton , as well as a link road, forest school and new park.
Explaining the proposals, which planners said were still being finalised, developers said the new-build properties would be focused in the southern part of the site. The northern areas of the site is expected to be used as a new Country Park, with the potential for a forest school to be set up within it.
