A major retailer is set to close one of its Glasgow stores.
Scotmid will be closing its store on Clarkston Road in the city's Muirend area.However, they have confirmed they are 'exploring' employment opportunities in other stores for workers impacted by the closure.In a statement, Karen Scott, chief operating officer at Scotmid, said: “The decision has been made to close our store in Muirend.
"We are exploring employment opportunities in our other Glasgow stores for those employees impacted by the closure.
