‘Major Grom And The Plague Doctor’: First Trailer For Russian Superhero Movie Based On Comic Book Series
Major Grom And The Plague DoctorFilmed in the Russian city of St. Petersburg, the-esque story follows a police officer who confronts a mysterious masked assassin nicknamed ‘The Plague Doctor’ who is methodically killing wealthy criminals who have evaded justice.
From director Oleg Trofim and DoP Maxim Zhukov , the long-in-the-works $10M-budgeted film is due to get a wide studio release in Russia next year. Bubble Studios is currently handling international sales and will be discussing the project next week during Russia’sStarring are Tikhon Zhiznevskiy and Lyubov Aksenova. Bubble Studios have produced in association with Kinopoisk HD. Lead producers are Artyom Gabrelyanov, Michael Kitaev and Olga Filipuk.
