The presence of the insects has been identified in a non-patient, basement area of Glasgow’s Royal Infirmary.
It is believed that the infestation was discovered by staff, who routinely inspect the site to identify and resolve any pest control issues.It is unknown when the issue will be cleared, but the hospital has confirmed that they are working with specialists, in order to rectify the situation safely and efficiently.
