POLICE have seized thousands of pounds worth of drugs, a firearm and a six-figure sum of cash in a major operation in Renfrewshire.
Drugs worth £65,000 were seized following an operation in Bishopton, where officers recovered quantities of heroin, cocaine and cannabis.A 57-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. They are both due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, March 25.
“The operation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy. Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
