Kobbie Mainoo has been absent from the Man United squad since pre-season but looks set to come in for the injured Casemiro.
Kobbie Mainoo has arrived at Old Trafford as part of the Manchester United squad for the first time this season as they host Manchester City.
Following a lengthy spell on the sidelines, Mainoo returned to training at the start of October and got his first minutes back on the pitch during United under-19s UEFA Youth League defeat against FC Copenhagen on Tuesday. The 18-year-old played 45 minutes before a pre-planned substitution.ALSO READ: United gameplan could rely on two summer signings vs City
Erik ten Hag admitted on Friday that the Brazilian faced a race against time to be fit for the 191st Manchester derby, having picked up a minor issue while away on international duty earlier this month. He had been involved in training since Monday but looks to have just missed out.
