Amy Christophers may not have found love on Married At First Sight UK, but the much loved star did manage to land herself her dream job after standing up to cruel online trolls
Married At First Sight UK star Amy Christophers has opened up about the brutal trolling that kickstarted her career, as she reflected on how cruel taunts from viewers had helped her to secure her dream job. As viewers may recall, sports journalist Amy shot to fame back in 2021 when she made her debut on the E4 reality series.
Post-show life wasn't all glitz and glamour though as Amy faced a barrage of body-shaming on social media, which became so intense that her friends had to step in and defend her online. "My friends were tagging me and defending me, but then that just made me look at the comments. While the majority of the comments were very supportive, some weren't very nice and took Josh's side, I think those people fancied him."
Even with the vote of confidence from so many people however, it didn't mean the negative comments hadn't affected Amy, who herself confessed that the vicious remarks left her questioning herself and her size, which at the time was a 12 to 14.
