A crash on the M1 near Watford has left two people dead and a further three in hospital.
Two people died in a horrific crash last night as a Range Rover careered off the M1 and crashed into trees.
A man and a young woman died at the scene, while a further three occupants, two women and one man, were taken to hospital for treatment, police confirmed. Sergeant Stephanie Corletto, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with all those affected at this extremely sad and difficult time.
