Fabio Grosso was left with a head injury after the attack on the Lyon bus Lyon manager Fabio Grosso was left bleeding from the head after Marseille fans attacked his team’s bus on the way to a Ligue 1 match on Sunday evening. Rocks were thrown at the Lyon team bus, smashing windows and Grosso was cut by shards of glass as a result. The Italian was seen bandaged and walking shortly afterwards but it was a significant cut that he suffered above his left eye.
Defeat at home to Clermont last time out left them at the foot of the table and in desperate need to turn their form around.
