TOWIE star Lydia Bright shows off her natural hair texture on holiday in Barbados, and it’s very different to the usual blow-dried and sleek styles she wears at home
We’re getting major hair envy from Lydia Bright’s holiday snaps. In fact, we’re getting holiday envy, too. The TOWIE star, joined by her sister, mum and two-year-old daughter Loretta, has been sunning it up in Barbados, and to say she looks like the picture of health would be an understatement.
Not only does Lydia’s skin look *glowing*, but she’s also nailed laid-back “holiday hair”. The star, 31, usually wears her blonde lengths in a sleek, blow-dried style, but she’s letting her curls and hair texture shine this holiday. We would never have guessed that Lydia had naturally curly hair, so we’re delighted to catch a glimpse of her natural beauty.
What we do know is that Lydia is becoming increasingly into a more natural beauty look, after admitting to making some make-up “mistakes” as a teen and during her early TOWIE days. In a recent interview with OK!, the mum-of-one explains that she doesn’t have the time or the need to apply make-up like she used to.
“I used to wear just such heavy makeup on TOWIE, and I think it was just a trend back then to wear a much thicker foundation and loads of layers, and eyelashes! I just think now that’s so dated,” Lydia said. “When I was a teenager, or when I was in my early 20s, I always wanted to look older. But now I'm in my 30s, I was to look younger, so I definitely don't wear makeup as I used to. I wouldn't have the time to do it.
As for her current regime? “I'll do some moisturiser, a bit of bronzer and a little bit of highlighter. I'll use my bronzer as well to do my eyeshadow. I just try not to over complicate things,” she says.
