The picturesque new rooms will 'connect guests to the natural world around them.'
Moor Hall, in Aughton, by the renowned Chef Mark Birchall, has established itself as one of the greatest culinary experiences in the country. The location, which serves refined, produce-driven modern European cuisine, was named 'Best Restaurant in England' at The Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards 2023 - for the second consecutive year.
Housed in the peaceful Lancashire countryside, Moor Hall is more than a restaurant, currently sporting seven rooms, each with a unique style. Mark Birchall and his team are now planning to open seven more rooms - this time in the form of luxury cabins, located in the secluded woodland surrounding the Grade II listed main building.
Each of the architecturally-designed buildings will be complete with a hot tub, and private decking area. In line with Moor Hall’s commitment to sustainable practices, which have resulted in the restaurant achieving a Michelin Green Star, the Garden Rooms have been created to comply with the highest eco-standards, as seen in features such as sustainable timber and the innovative practice of off-site prefabrication for each cabin.
Speaking on the launch of the Garden Rooms, Mark said: “Moor Hall is constantly evolving. Innovation, sustainability, and an outstanding guest experience are at the heart of everything we do, and I am so excited for this next stage in our journey. Moor Hall is located in a beautiful setting, and it has been a pleasure working with KOTO to design new rooms that celebrate the surroundings and connect guests to the natural world around them.
