Admitting that she had to shoot her video a couple of times, Lucy confessed that she was a “blubbering mess.” She acknowledged that she struggled with what to post, and how to react, calling the show “one of the highlights of my life.”was not picked up for a second season, an experience that does not get any easier despite years working in the entertainment industry, Lucy noted. “It's a job that has broken my heart numerous times,” she said.
Holding back tears, Lucy said portraying Katy was “a role of the lifetime,” and she wanted to create the video to thank everyone that had been involved on the series. “I think that sometimes things just don't work out and maybe it was just not the right time for it, I don't know, I'm a little confused,” she said.
Despite the cancellation, Lucy encouraged fans to watch the first season on HBO Max, and she's already looking towards the future, saying that she intends to hold her head high.
