A senior at Louisiana State University was found shot to death inside of her car in downtown Baton Rouge Friday morning.
The Shed BBQ Baton Rouge/FacebookAllison Rice was discovered in her car around 2:20 a.m. just miles away from the Baton Rouge campus.Rice recently left a bartending job at The Shed BBQ in Baton Rouge, where her siblings also worked, to take on a new internship, the restaurant’s owner Chez Ciccone recalled telling the bubbly bartender that she was always welcome to come back and that “We are so proud of the direction you are taking. You’ve got your entire life ahead of you.
Rice’s aunt and godmother, Susie Rice Granier, told The Advocate that her niece was a “free spirit” who loved to dance and sing. “The loss of a child, you can never get over that,” she said. “The holidays are coming up. It’s going to be sad. It’s going to be really sad.”
