Friends and family describe Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Deputy Maher Hosseini as a helpful, generous, and ambitious individual.
Husseini was gunned down Tuesday while on the way to work after a man walked up to his vehicle at the intersection of Richmond Avenue and Fondren Road and fired several rounds into the SUV, according to Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman.The deputy constable’s identity was released once his wife, who was traveling back from out of town, was officially notified about his death. Herman said Husseini has been with the department since 2021 and patrolled the South-Central District.
Records show Husseini received his bachelor’s degree from Governors State University and Texas Southern University confirms in December 2015, he was awarded a PhD in Administration of Justice.
