LoveIsland stars are paid a weekly sum for appearing on the hit dating show
It's no secret that Love Island contestants can earn a fortune after leaving the villa, but during their time on the show they also receive weekly money.
In 2021, Love Island stars were reportedly paid around £250 per week while appearing on the ITV2 show, according to The Sun. ITV bosses increased the payment from £200, which the 2018 cast received, but a source pointed out: "If you break it down to how many hours they’re filming every day it’s absolutely nothing!"
Marie Claire also reported that the medical student, 24, had given her Love Island earnings away to charity after the show. Molly-Mae Hague, who appeared on Love Island in 2019, has gone on to make millions, with the 23 year old becoming creative director of fashion brand PrettyLittleThing and also launching her own fake tan brand.
