The “Love Is Blind” star, who has been facing backlash from Season 2 viewers, apologized to his ex-fiancée in a video shared to Instagram on Tuesday.
“Deepti, I am truly sorry for some of the things I said,” “Love Is Blind” star Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee admitted in his apology video.In his apology video, which appeared to be filmed in a restaurant, he noted that the pair were “best friends” while they were filming the Netflix dating show.
Despite Shake’s attempt to take accountability for his actions, many fans weren’t buying his apology – and called him out in the comments section.“It’s only because everyone is coming for you,” one person wrote, with another adding, “Apologizes after being called out RELENTLESSLY seems like you only apologized so everyone doesn’t hate you.”
“Why are you doing this in the middle of what seems to be a restaurant? And why does it look like you’re trying not to smirk all the way through this?” another commented.Shake noted in his caption that he also “reached out privately” to Deepti. However, in a recent interview with Page Six, Deepti said she had“We talked about how we struggled with the intimacy part of our relationship but watching it back was hard,” the reality star explained.
