Nicolas Ghesquière transformed his fall 2020 runway at Paris Fashion Week into a drama.
runway show into a theater. A wall of live spectators, themselves dressed in a range of costume-like getups, , stood at the back of the runway to watch the models walk. And this season’s collection was a reflection of the stage: multicolored, flouncy can-can skirts resembled something out ofmultiple looks were après-ski ready with anoraks and puffers galore, and there were leather pieces throughout.
