Namir Malik Ali Greene could face two decades in prison for a string of robberies and carjackings spanning several Southern California cities.
A Los Angeles man pleaded guilty to robbery on Wednesday, Sept. 6, admitting to holding up eight Southern California businesses and stealing a car in April, federal authorities said.
An affidavit filed in federal court in April alleges that Greene stole more than $15,000 during the crime spree. Greene’s plea agreement states that on April 4, he robbed a gas station in Marina Del Rey. Greene made a purchase and stayed inside the store until the customers left, then placed a paper bag on the store counter, aimed a BB gun at the clerk, and instructed them to put money in the bag. The clerk took $700 out of the cash register, put it in the bag, and Greene fled the store.
