A fallen tree has blocked the road towards an M25 junction, causing a queue of heavy traffic.
The A404 Chorleywood Road was left impassable by a fallen tree near the junction with Chestnut Avenue, Rickmansworth, this afternoon.Earlier today, the Tornado and Storm Research Organisation warned that areas of Hertfordshire could see wind gusts of 50 to 70mph until 8pm.The RAC had said that the M25 between the M23 for Gatwick and the M1in Hertfordshire was likely to be the UK’s busiest stretch of motorway from 4pm today.
