King and a still-at-large accomplice are accused of firing 20 rounds at Jeminson around 2 a.m. on April 8 outside of Pure Lounge nightclub in St. Albans, according to prosecutors.Jeminson left Pure Lounge around 2:05 a.m. and the two alleged gunmen followed him out, prosecutors said. Jeminson ran around the corner as the two shooters gave chase, each firing multiple times as the victim fell to the ground, according to prosecutors.
King and the other suspect fled into a BMW sedan and drove off, the district attorney’s office said. Police later found that BMW after a search warrant was executed at King’s home, prosecutors said.Katz’s office noted that originally when King and his companion tried to enter the club before the shooting, King was allowed in but his partner, who was armed, was not after they were frisked by security, according to surveillance footage.
