The Loganair service from London had been due to touch down at Dundee last night before being diverted due to the weather conditions.
A flight has been forced to divert from one Scottish airport to another due to heavy fog. The Loganair service from London to Dundee had to land at Edinburgh Airport last night.
A spokesperson for Loganair said: "Fog was the reason for the diversion". It is the second incident this week involving a Loganair flight. On Tuesday an aircraft was met with airport fire crews after returning to the capital shortly after take-off.
