The 34-year-old is nearing a return to first team action after two months out

Livingston defender Michael Nottingham admits he feels that he’s let the club down but has heaped praise on how they’ve supported him through injury.

He said: “It’s been a long two months. It’s been frustrating, physically demanding and mentally challenging but I’ve been through this before and it was just a day-by-day process. He added: “I got injured on the last day of last season and I didn’t have a pre-season. When I came up here I went straight into full training and I probably went a bit too hard, too quickly.

He said: “I had a phone call with the manager in the summer about coming here and he’s telling me things I didn’t even know about myself.
