The Almondvale club's long-standing relationship with Tony Macaroni has come to an end
Livingston FC’s colloquial nickname of the ‘Spaghettihad’ as their stadium name is no more, after the club confirmed their sponsorship deal with restaurant Tony Macaroni comes to an end this season.
Livingston said their long-running shirt and stadium sponsorship with the Italian eatery is coming to a “natural end” after 11 and nine seasons, respectively. Livingston CEO Davie Black said: “We are grateful to Sep and the Tony Macaroni chain as a whole for their continued support in the last 11 years.
“Of course the Tony Macaroni Arena stadium name has become a well-known venue within the Scottish game, and I don’t think either the club or Tony Macaroni themselves could have predicted how far and wide that stadium name would travel and have such an impact.
