Flights have been temporarily suspended Flights were grounded for more than an hour at Liverpool John Lennon Airport because a power failure impacted air traffic control. The airport announced the failure shortly before 2pm and it meant flights were temporarily suspended. A spokesperson for the airport said: ”Our engineers have resolved the earlier Air Traffic Control power issue, and aircraft operations have now resumed.
These include a flight from Jersey, one from Enfidha in Tunisia, and one from Parma in Italy. Departures have also been affected, the Liverpool Echo reports, with the following flights set to be delayed: 12.45pm flight to Alicante delayed until 3pm 1pm flight to Belfast delayed until 1.45pm 1.50pm flight to Malaga delayed until 3.30pm 2.55pm flight to Tenerife-South delayed until 4.37pm 3.15pm flight to Lanzarote delayed until 3.55pm 3.45pm to Barcelona delayed until 4.20pm 3.
