Toulouse's manager dished out a warning in his press conference as Liverpool prepare to travel to France
Toulouse manager Carles Martinez Novell has warned Liverpool the next meeting between the clubs on Thursday will not be as easy, as hopes to make the Reds 'suffer too'.
Diogo Jota put the Reds ahead early on though this was cancelled out quickly. From then on it was plain sailing as Wataru Endo, Darwin Nunez, Ryan Gravenberch and Mohamed Salah added their names to the scoresheet to humiliate the visitors. "It's true that 5-1 is a pretty heavy score, because there were some positive things from us. We don't keep this match in mind. We think about what we can improve. We're not necessarily concerned about what happened there."
With two sources of motivation, plus knockout stages qualification not yet out of reach, Les Violets' manager has alerted the travelling Reds that they won't be in for simple ride at the Stadium de Toulouse.
