Arne Slot is finally set to make his first signing as Liverpool boss with a deal now 100% agreed for Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.
Mamardashvili was outstanding for Georgia during Euro 2024 over the summer, and was arguably the main reason the underdogs managed to escape the group stage.Liverpool have an agreement for a €35m package plus a sell-on clause with the contract being signed on Monday, however, the goalkeeper will remain at Valencia for the rest of the season.The 23-year-old goalkeeper earned 13 clean sheets last season for Valencia in 37 La Liga appearances.
