There's now a '60 minute delay on approach' according to National Highways
this morning after a lorry and a van were involved in a collision on a section of the route in Northamptonshire. According to travel information provider Inrix, there are "long delays" and two lanes closed due to recovery work and the accident.
It's reported that the lorry and the van collided on the M1 Southbound between Junction 17 M45 and Junction 16 A4500 . As of 8.30am, travel time is 50 minutes and lanes one and two are currently shut. National Highways Midlands also tweeted about the incident. They said: "2 lanes remain closed on the
