, also attempted to rob a newsagents. The 49-year-old entered Sangha's off licence on Lower House Lane and demanded cash before firing a single shot through the Perspex sheet in front of the counter, at around 8pm on Wednesday, January 3.
The 49-year-old then travelled to the Showcase Cinema on Stonedale retail park off the East Lancs Road, threatening two members of staff before leaving and firing multiple shots into the air.
He has remained in custody since the court hearing. Garrett will be sentenced today, Friday, April 5 at Liverpool Crown Court.
