Lisa Marie tragically passed away at the age of 54 from cardiac arrest, according to reports
Lisa Marie Presley shared a devastating post about "grief" and feeling "destroyed" shortly before her sudden death at the age of 54.
It read: "Hi. In honor of it being National Grief Awareness Day , I wrote an essay about Grief which was posted today on PEOPLE," she shared. I thought I’d post it here in the hopes that anyone who needs to hear all of this, it helps in some way." Lisa Marie had to deal with grief after her son, Benjamin, died by suicide in 2020. Following her death, Rita Wilson said she and Tom Hanks have been left devastated, Birmingham Live reports.
"Lisa Marie was so honest and direct, vulnerable, in a state of anticipation about the movie. She spoke so eloquently about her father, what the movie meant to her, that it was a celebration of her dad," Ruth wrote.
