West Ham striker Michail Antonio reckons it would be a "scandal" if Manchester City player Erling Haaland doesn't get his hands on the coveted Ballon d'Or award this month.
Argentina captain Lionel Messi is an odds-on favourite to claim a record-extending eighth Ballon d'Or award after guiding his country to the World Cup trophy in Qatar last winter. "If you take away international football and compare statistically... Haaland should win the award. You can't look past Messi winning his first World Cup as it's a big contributing factor, but club football-wise he's been playing in America which is very different to Haaland in the Premier League."
