Lincoln's current and former MPs have expressed differing views on the City of Lincoln Council's new events line-up.
"They even admit the 'new' events will not entirely replace the economic benefits of the market. But the market was always about more than money. On the other hand, former Labour MP and city councillor Karen Lee has defended the council's decision on Twitter. Lee tweeted:"I think it’s an impressive line-up from a council which faces tough times economically as a result of government budget cuts.She also encouraged critics to support the efforts put in by the council.
