Lil Nas X is setting the record straight over comments made by Fox News' Tucker Carlson
The"Old Town Road" rapperFriday night to defend himself after the conservative television commentator blamed Lil Nas and other celebrities for"fueling" riots around the country by donating to causes that help bail out citizens arrested during protests.
During his show on Friday, Carlson featured a scrolling list of celebrity names over footage of violent protesting, suggesting the actors and musicians are"funding this chaos" by giving funds to Black Lives Matter and other organizations that pay to get"violent rioters out of jail.""Rapper Lil Nas X urged his 4.7 million Twitter followers to donate to bail groups in Chicago, New York, Philadelphia and elsewhere," Carlson said.
