Residents in Tower Green are taking matters into their own hands in a bid to tackle commuters blocking their drives
Residents in Fulwood have waged war on 'cheeky' commuters using their cul-de-sac as an unofficial car park.
Lee said he has become so frustrated that he has taken to placing notes on cars and taking photos of repeat offenders."It's got to the point where if I'm going out I have to move one car and then put our other in its space otherwise within a matter of minutes it would be taken," he told LancsLive. The law around parking on pavements is somewhat ambiguous. Outside of London parking on the pavement is not illegal as such although the Highway Code states motorists "should not" do so in comparison to the "must not" rule for the capital.
"There was one woman who parked here and she works at a nursery," Lee added. "I explained to her that she was blocking the pavement but she just walked away.
