Play-off chasing Hull City have dropped to ninth in the Championship, six points outside of the top six, after failing to win any of their last five league matches
Hull City head coach Liam Rosenior is demanding a strong reaction from his players in their forthcoming televised encounter with Leeds United. The Tigers make the short trip to West Yorkshire tomorrow on the back of a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Stoke City.
But Rosenior is refusing to give up hope of being involved in the end-of-season extravaganza. He told our sister title Hull Live: "What I'd say about this group is every time questions have been asked, every time it feels like we're in a major setback, they come out swinging. They've done that for me in my 18 months here, so what a game, what a game to show what we're about as characters, what we're about as people.
"We've proved on so many occasions that we can mix it with the best teams in the league and win games and play really well and dominate. We need to go there and show it again. What an occasion, it's going to be a full house, we'll take 3,000 fans with us, local derby, live on Sky, let's see what we're made of."
