East Bay Times Letters to the Editor for Sept. 29, 2022

has provided an excellent education to Fremont children. It offers small class sizes, individualized attention, a caring environment and high-level academic instruction. It is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

But that was not the end of it. Fremont strung the school along. The school would submit plans, the city would wait until the 90 days for it to respond almost passed — and impose new demands, often petty ones. Costs mounted; the children suffered.Fremont lost New Horizon School. Our local government failed working parents.Lafayette has great schools.

They are knowledgeable about educational issues and have outstanding records of contributions to our schools and community. They will best represent our students, our teachers, our community and our school district. Lafayette deserves and needs school board members who will continue to bring our community together.Scouting is in deep trouble but is needed now more than everThank you Mr. Plante for sharing your Scouting adventure. You are correct. The world needs more Eagle Scouts.
