Leicester City lost further ground in the race for the Premier League with a 1-0 defeat to Bristol City today as Leeds United stayed top ahead of tonight's game at Watford. A second-half strike from Anis Mehmeti proved to be the difference between the two sides as the Foxes poor form continued.
Leicester have now just won one of their last six Championship matches as their lead at the top has been eroded. It meant Leeds United, who play Watford at Vicarage Road tonight, stayed top of the Championship table. The two sides are level on points with Daniel Farke's men having a superior goal difference.
All four sides are also in action on Easter Monday, with Leeds host Hull City , Leicester hosting Norwich City , while Ipswich and Southampton go head-to-head at Portman Road .
