Several Leeds United players are understood to be expecting babies in and around this time of the year at the same time providing an obvious knock-on effect for Daniel Farke
Expectant partners of Leeds United’s players are unlikely to take too kindly to Daniel Farke’s assistants being at their bedside while their other halves are drilled by the manager at Thorp Arch. In a strange quirk of fate, there are several United players awaiting new babies at the same time and Farke has his fingers crossed his selection is not too badly impacted.
Several Whites players are all understood to be expecting babies any time now. Farke said any disruption was entirely understood and accepted, though he reiterated he needs every player he has for this weekend’s match.“It’s not just the games that are coming thick and fast at the moment, also the babies, so that's definitely good news,” said Farke. “It feels like the football players have some time in the summer, so it's, more or less, all around the same time.
Assistants Eddie Riemer, Ed Wootten, Chris Domogalla and Christopher John would not, though, be sent in Farke’s players’ stead, much to the mothers’ delight.
