Leeds United’s stunning 3-2 comeback victory against Norwich City lifted the Whites up to third in the EFL Championship table as they look to keep in touch with runaway leaders Leicester City and Ipswich Town.
It was a similar story for the Whites who had seen a lot of the ball and squandered numerous chances in the first half to get back level before Sara’s sucker punch blow, but Daniel Farke’s side aren’t one for rolling over, having already picked up five points from losing positions this term. Georginio Rutter, quickly becoming a cult figure in West Yorkshire, sent Dan James away down the right, before his low cross cannoned in off the retreating Shane Duffy to half the deficit.
Boos echoed around Carrow Road on the final whistle as pressure mounts on former Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner. The Canaries sit in tenth whilst Daniel Farke’s Leeds United have closed the gap to second-placed Ipswich to six points.
