Leeds United will already be preparing themselves for the opening of the January transfer window with work to be done
Leeds United were glad to see the back of the transfer window at the start of September after being put through the wringer. Transfer clauses ensured Leeds were powerless to prevent a heap of players leaving the club before the campaign got underway, leaving the Whites looking extremely threadbare.
A number 10 Supporters were keen to see Leeds land an attacking midfielder in the summer and while a host of players were linked with a switch to the Whites, Leeds decided against making additions in that area of the field. Joel Piroe has been utilised in that position so far this season, with Farke making the point that he feels the Dutchman is well suited to playing behind the pace of Georginio Rutter with Piroe arriving late into the box.
A left-back Despite the issues Leeds have had at left-back over the years, they probably don’t need to make an addition in the position for the sake of it. Sam Byram looks to have the spot wrapped up for the time being and the 30-year-old has been a breath of fresh air as he gets his career back on track at Elland Road.
