Leeds United have recovered from a slow start to sit third in the Championship and will be hoping to close the gap on the automatic promotion places with victory at Leicester City on Friday night
Wilfried Gnonto believes Leeds United are in 'top form' and have the 'quality' to secure a priceless away victory over league leaders Leicester City. The relegated teams face one another in a blockbuster televised contest at the King Power Stadium on Friday night.
Daniel Farke's team have recovered from a slow start to sit third in the table, but face a tough task to become only the second team to beat the Foxes in the league this term. Leicester have won all but one of their first 14 matches, and already hold a 14-point cushion to Leeds in the race for automatic promotion.
Farke's side registered a comfortable derby victory over Huddersfield Town in their last outing, quickly bouncing back from defeat at Stoke City. Gnonto insists there are no nerves in the dressing room ahead of facing Leicester, and believes the team have to approach the match like any other.He told the club's website: “I think we are buzzing, it’s a great game They’re in top form and at the top of the league. When you start to play football, you want to play these type of games.
"We try to go into every game with the same way, we want to win, we know we have the quality and the players to do it, on the pitch and the bench as well. If we just go into the game the same way and with the same mentality, we can win.”
