Leeds United beat Hannover 96 4-1 in the first friendly of their Germany pre-season training camp on Wednesday afternoon with goals from Ilia Gruev, Joel Piroe and Mateo Joseph
Goals from Ilia Gruev , Joel Piroe and a Mateo Joseph brace sealed a comprehensive win for Leeds United in the first game of their pre-season training camp in Germany. Hannover 96 were their opponents in an afternoon kick-off on the continent that ended 4-1 to the Whites.

The Dutchman retained the ball, waited for Joseph’s run in behind and found him with a perfectly weighted pass.
Joseph would restore the three-goal advantage before the end with his second of the match. United pressed high and turned the ball over deep into Hannover territory on the right flank. Jayden Bogle would drive inside off the wing, go past a defender and then drive a low cross into the near post for Joseph to steer home.
