Leeds United lost 2-1 to Southampton at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon and here are some of the moments you may have missed
In the last seconds before kick-off, once Leeds had finished up with their huddle, Georginio Rutter spotted something very important Sam Byram had missed. His bootlaces had come undone and Rutter’s eagle eye spotted it before pointing it out to his team-mate.
An inflatable scrap There was one eye-catching scuffle in the John Charles Stand on Saturday afternoon. Only a few rows in front of the directors’ box, one fan and a steward were seen grappling over an inflatable doughnut. Presumably, inflatables like that are against the ground regulations, hence the steward getting so physical in their attempt to take it away. However, he lost out, the inflatable started doing its rounds along the stand and the cheers went up around the spectators for the victory.
