Many customers have said goodbye to the departing team
A Leeds restaurant popular with the Emmerdale cast has closed for refurbishment with new owners set to relaunch the venue.
The team at the Reliance announced they will be stepping away from the restaurant. Posting on Facebook, they said: “It is with very mixed emotions that we, Joss and Becs, announce that our combined 40 year long shift at The Reliance has come to an end.“It’s been a privilege to work with and serve so many wonderful people over the years but the time has come to make space for other things in our lives. Thank you all for all your support.
On the Reliance’s website, it currently states the restaurant and bar is close for refurbishment and will reopen on Wednesday, February 22. Many customers have taken to social media to wish the departing team well. “Significant life decisions like this are always emotional. Lots of love for your exciting future. We all look forward to seeing you on the other side of the bar.”
