Ellis wowed Claudia Winkleman, Mika and Lang Lang with his magical rendition of Chopin’s Ballade No.4
A Leeds man who learned the piano via free council schemes has appeared on a new series of Channel 4's The Piano.
Ellis, who learnt to play the musical instrument through schemes from the local council, likened boxing to playing the piano as he said: “The discipline you need is very similar to what you need for the piano. You need to be so willing to leave your ego outside to grow and get better.”
