The organisers of Leeds festival have issued an urgent weather warning as Storm Lilian continues to hit the UK. Forecasters warned the storm may lead to disruption to travel and infrastructure on Friday morning, as well as 'danger to life from flying debris.

Remember to look out for each other.” Greg Dewhurst, a Met Office forecaster, warned campers at Leeds Festival: “There could be potentially some impacts from strong winds, of 50 to 60 mph in the area so it’s worth making sure your tents are secured. There could also be disruption first thing to the transport networks for those travelling first thing.
