After the statue ceremony, Nowitzki naturally was asked about James, who likely will have multiple statues made in his likeness someday. In Cleveland, certainly. Probably in Miami and Los Angeles, as well. Nowitzki and James have come a long way personally since those 2011 Finals, during which James and Heat co-star Dwyane Wade infamously were caught on camera fake-coughing in the American Airlines Center hallway. That was obvious insinuation that they doubted Nowitzki was ill during Dallas’ Game 4 victory that tied the series at 2-2, even though it was well-documented that Nowitzki had a 102-degree fever.
