Podcast: Greenberg Traurig's Jaret Davis on current legal trends
Much has been written about how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted how we all conduct business. Can you chat a little bit about how it's affected law firms?Obviously, hybrid work is here to stay, so we [Greenberg Traurig] have a hybrid work environment. But one of the things we've done is had a number of very frank roundtable discussions where I've said: Look, obviously this is the New World, so we're going to be as flexible as anyone else. But law is an apprenticeship.
And with all that activity, all the new entrants to Miami, you're getting more ideas. It gives you more intel on these different communities. It's one thing to read a book or a newsletter or report from an analyst. It's quite another to have someone who's actually successfully doing business in that country. And a big part of expanding into a brand-new market is that demystification.
